Cryptid
In the lush heart of Africa there is a creature called Mokele Mbembe. The people describe what can only be a small apatosaurus. Researchers have tested them to find out if it is a known animal and show the native peoples pictures of elephants, rhinos, and apatosaurus. Without fail, everyone who has seen Mokele Mbembe identifies the creature that looks most like the dinosaur as Mokele Mbembe.
Coincidences
There was a kid in my elementary and middle school class named Sawyer Nichols. He had brown hair and loved sports. After eighth grade I never saw him again. But last year he was randomly in my dream, and the next morning I found out that it was his birthday.
