Humble Pie hosted it’s first ever Pie Slam yesterday on the CCA San Francisco campus. Students selected poems from the books we supplied, or from their personal repertoires, and performed them in front of CCA’s A2 café.

This impromptu poetry slam was our way of getting people excited about submitting their work to the tenth volume of Humble Pie: CCA’s undergraduate literary magazine.

If you’re on the Oakland campus from 3-4 tomorrow afternoon, stop by for our second slam. We’ll be outside A2, and we will be handing out cupcakes and cookies!
